At Yu Ying TCM Clinic Pte Ltd ("Yu Ying TCM" or "we", "us" or "our"), we deeply value the privacy of your personal data. This privacy policy document ("Privacy Policy") explains the types of personal data that are collected and recorded by yuyingtcm.com ("Website") and any associated online booking systems, consultation platforms, or communication channels (collectively, the "PLATFORMS"), and how we use it.
Unless otherwise stated, the term "personal data" refers to data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data or from that data and other information to which the organisation has or is likely to have access.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our PLATFORMS with regards to the personal data shared and/or collected by Yu Ying TCM. This Privacy Policy supplements and neither supersedes nor replaces any other consents that you may have previously provided to us in respect of your personal data.

By using our PLATFORMS, you hereby consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. Where you provide us with personal data of third parties, you represent and warrant that you have obtained the necessary consent from such third parties to provide us with their personal data for the respective purposes.
Information We Collect
We collect information from you in the following ways:
(a) Directly from You The personal data that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal data. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide. By providing such information, you are deemed to have consented to the collection, use and disclosure of such personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy for the purposes for which it was provided. When you register for a user’s account or book an appointment, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, gender, date of birth, address, email address, and telephone number. Your provision of this information for account registration or booking implies your consent for its collection, use, and disclosure in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
(b) Automatically through Technology To collect this information, we may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies. A “cookie” is a small text file that websites send to a visitor’s computer or other internet-connected device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser. A “web beacon,” also known as a pixel tag or clear GIF, is used to transmit information back to a web server. We may also collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites. The information we collect automatically may include:
- URLs that refer visitors to our website

Certain third parties might link your name or email address to other information they have collected, which may include past purchases made offline or online, or online usage information. 
(d) By Combining Personal Data We may combine personal data that we collect offline with personal data we collect through our PLATFORMS. We may combine personal data we collect about you from the different devices you use to access our PLATFORMS. We may combine personal data we get from third parties with personal data we already have about you.
How We Use Your Personal Data
We use the personal data we collect in various ways, including to:
- Create and manage your online accounts and profiles. 
- Communicate with you to provide you with updates and other information relating to our services and your appointments. 
- Communicate with you about your account or our relationship.

- Comply with our legal obligations, including those required for you to benefit from rights recognized by law, or any regulatory requirements or provisions (e.g., Ministry of Health regulations). 
- Conduct or administer surveys and other market research to improve our PLATFORMS and services better. 
- Send push notifications about new products, services, or special offers (if you have opted in). 
Disclosure of Personal Data
Yu Ying TCM may, from time to time, disclose your personal data to Affiliates or third-party service providers (e.g., IT support, payment processors, analytics providers) for the purposes stated above. We will only disclose personal data necessary for these third parties to perform their functions.
Where there is a transfer of personal data out of Singapore, Yu Ying TCM will undertake to ensure that the personal data will be protected at a standard that is comparable to that under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2012, through legally enforceable obligations on the recipient to protect the transferred personal data to a standard at least comparable to the PDPA.
Accuracy and Protection of Personal Data
Yu Ying TCM uses commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal data and will not knowingly allow access to your personal data other than as stated in this Privacy Policy. We also take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data we collect is accurate and complete.
Access and Correction of Personal Data
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. You also have the right to request access to, and request for the correction of your personal data collected. Yu Ying TCM reserves the right to charge you a reasonable administrative fee in order to meet such requests. Upon payment of the requisite fee (if any), Yu Ying TCM shall process your request within thirty (30) days or as otherwise prescribed by the PDPA.
Storage and Retention of Personal Data
Yu Ying TCM reserves the right to retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which it was collected, or to which you have given your consent, or as required by applicable laws and regulatory requirements (e.g., for medical record keeping), whichever is longer.
Log Files
Our PLATFORMS follow a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit the PLATFORMS. All hosting companies do this and it's a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Cookies and Web Beacons
Our PLATFORMS use ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information. Information Collected from Minors
Protecting children's privacy online is a priority. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their children's online activity. Yu Ying TCM does not knowingly collect any personal data from individuals under the age of 13. If you think that your child under 13 has provided personal data on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately, and we will make our best efforts to promptly remove such personal data from our records. For individuals aged 13 to under 18, we strongly advise parental or guardian consent before providing personal data.
Amendments to the Privacy Policy
Yu Ying TCM reserves the right to amend any part of this Privacy Policy from time to time in compliance with any relevant legislation (including the PDPA), and for any other purpose as deemed necessary by us. Any amendments will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our PLATFORMS after such amendments will constitute your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
